KAOS is stealing paintings from the museum, replacing them with forgeries, and selling the originals to finance their plans of evil. Max learns about art to try and capture the gang's ringleader, Rembrandt Von Bronzefinger. He goes undercover in the museum as an art restorer, where he must work with three other restorers, who are also suspects. Unfortunately, all of them get murdered and both 99 and Max fall into Bronzefinger's metallic grasp.

The title to this episode is, of course, based on the James Bond classic Goldfinger.
