After failing to protect Dr. Pliny from the Choker, Max is ordered to vacation in Canada. He refuses and instead heads to Casablanca to track down the Choker. 99 is already there undercover as a lounge singer and she fails to recognize Max, who also fails to recognize her. After believing each other to be the Choker, they discover his true identity and defeat him, thanks to Max's rubber neck.
