The planet is being frozen by a giant KAOS fan in the North Pole. Max gets snowed in, so 99 and CIA Agent Quigley journey to the North Pole to find Mounties Siegfried and Shtarker.

Don Adams refused to act in the episode, claiming that the script was merely a pale rewrite of an earlier episode. He called in sick the day shooting started and his good friend Bill Dana filled in for him. Unfortunately, no one changed the jokes to fit Dana's style and he proved to be a pathetic imitation Max.

The only highlight in this is when Shtarker starts acting goofy and Siegfried fails to stop him saying, "It's the North Pole. You can do whatever you want."

It's a shame Adams refused to do the episode, as it would have been a great episode with Max as the lead.
