A beauty pageant is the background for this episode. Max is assigned to protect Miss USA, who is the daughter of famous American scientist Herman Heinschmidt. As her chaperone, Max investigates the other contestants, as another contestant is a KAOS plant. Actually, two contestants are KAOS plants, but only one represents true KAOS.

This episode is a takeoff on the political battles between China, The Soviet Union, and the U.S. Though both communist countries, China claimed to be better then the U.S.S.R. because China represented "true communism."

This episode also features probably the most politically incorrect joke of all when the CONTROL computer can't pick out the Asian KAOS agent because "they all look alike to it."
