The Noose Hangs High

In this slapstick farce, legendary comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are "at their best" providing the "usual high quota of laughs" (The Hollywood Reporter) along with several of their immortal comedy routines.

Mistaken as messangers, window washers Abbott & Costello are sent to collect $50,000 in cash by a gangster who runs a gambling syndicate. But Costello inadvertently mails the cash to a woman (Cathy Downs) who manages to spend it before they track her down. Threatened by the hoodlum and his henchmen, the desperate threesome must act quickly to come up with the money within the thirty-six hour deadline.

Zany, hilarious, and eternal crowd-pleasers, Abbott & Costello remain one of America's all-time favorite comedic duos, and The Noose Hangs High is a classic example of their genius.
