While in a KAOS shoot-out, Max and 99 are saved by Siegfried, who kills a KAOS agent and then announces his attention to defect. KAOS tries to kill Siegfried before he can reveal their "Operation Big K" at CONTROL's annual Chief's Banquet.

In this episode, we learn that Siegfried's nastiness comes from his parent's refusal to give him a sled.
