As Artie Pinsetter, Costello is a rubbish collectorand part-time inventor who builds an incredible machine he calls Max. Looking like a stylized toaster-oven, Max turns Artiee into a rocket-powered space explorer and his girlfriend, Emmy Lou (Dorothy Provine), into a figure of colossal (and curvy) proportions ! When the military gets wind of Artie's invention, things go really beserk. It's a classic sci-fi comedy not to be missed !
