Dr. James Hayes-Bohanan

James Hayes-Bohanan, Ph.D.

Greetings! You have reached some web space I have at TMLP. I maintain a variety of web sites elsewhere, but none of my own content here at TMLP.

I have been building web compulsively since 1995, and they now cover just about every area of interest that I have. And I am interested in just everything except for spectator sports.

Some of my sites are listed below. Please feel free to visit, link, and comment!

Environmental Geography at
http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jhayesboh/ is my main site. It includes my resume, contact information, and many original pieces and annotated links about the environment, geography, my personal travels, teaching and learning, and many other areas of interest. The international pages include detailed information about Iraq, Cuba, Brazil, and Transylvania (Romania), among other places.

Pax Mundo at http://www.paxmundo.org is a separate site on which I am posting curriculum materials that use geography to help U.S. students understand the role of their counrty in the world.

First Parish Church at http://firstparish.bridgewater.ma.uua.org is a site I created for my local church. It is now maintained and operated primarily by another member of the congregation.

Earth Sciences and Geography at http://www.bridgew.edu/ESandG/ is the web site of my academic department at Bridgewater State College, which I maintain in cooperation with the department chair.

RiverNet Watershed Access Lab at http://www.bridgew.edu/wal/ is a web site I have operated for several years, in support of the very important environmental research, education, and outreach of Dr. Kevin Curry's lab at Biridgewater State College.

My No-Smoke Zone at http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jhayesboh/nosmoke/ is where I encourage my students to quit smoking or avoid it altogether.

My County Map Project at http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jhayesboh/COUNTIES/COUNTY.HTM is the gateway to maps, photos, and stories about all of my travel, domestic and international.

My Bad for Business page at http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jhayesboh/badbusiness.html describes some of the many reasons I stay away from WalMart, including human rights, wages, abuse of the welfare system, and environmental concerns.

My Massachusetts State Colleges Under Attack page at http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jhayesboh/msca.htm explains the incredible and ongoing underfunding of state colleges in Massachusetts, as part of a program of class warfare the political elites of  the Commonwealth are waging on working families.

Easy Accounting Solutions at http://www.EasyAccountingSolutions.com/ is a site I created for my friend Susan Driehaus, who provides bookkeeping and accounting services in Brockton, Massachusetts and the South Shore.
