I Know this Much Is True
by Wally Lamb
This moving novel touches on multiple themes including care giving,
dementia, child abuse, parent-child relations and survival. Domenic
Birdsey’s identical twin is a paranoid schizophrenic and Domenic is his
caregiver. This is not the only difficulty Domenic has to face in
learning to cope with the personal and family tragedies of his life.
