Our Ideas

Updated September 28, 2006

Unitarian Universalism is a creedless religion, meaning that members are not required to subscribe to any specific set of beliefs or doctrines.

We do, however, share common values with other UUs, which are described nicely in Marta Flanagan's essay " We Are Unitarian Universalists ." To learn more about the diversity of religious paths that comprise Unitarian Universalism, please visit the UUA denominational web site.

Most UUs subscribe to the notions contained in our Seven Principles and Purposes , but they do not have to!

The best way to find out what this all means in our congregation is to visit us. We hope you will do so soon!
