Flawless F. As requested, I have been digging up the dirt
on the musical group known as the BaHa Brothers... the group itself is no help, the piano
player says they are from Scotland, while the sax player swears they are from Saginaw,
Michigan... however,by piecing together newspaper accounts and the scribbling on the back of
cocktail napkins, I was able to compile the following unauthorized report... The BaHa Brothers were born and raised in Barbados. Their biological parents soon realized that they could not keep up with the enormous food, liquor, and 1 - 900 phone bills that the five boys incurred. They were therefore split up and sold to various Massachusetts couples for as much as $25.00. Incidentally, their sixth brother, Winslow, was kept by their biological parents and is now president of Amway International. The five boys all grew up to be musicians (or reasonable facsimiles) and played separately and together in various bands throughout New England. In the early 90's, finding themselves far from home and far from talented, they formed a summertime, Jimmy Buffett, frat-party-gone-amuck band that could bring their tequila-soaked beach music to the masses.
All of the boys sing lead and harmony, leading to a vocal sound which one veteran
Boston musician described as "bogus". No, really, they are known for their vocals which they
supply to every arrangement as well as the friendship and fun which follows them wherever
they go.
