Life in

Winchester, Massachusetts

Joel H. Metcalf was called to Winchester, Massachusetts in early 1910. He appeared to make such an impression on the people that even the WINCHESTER STAR devoted space for many of his sermons.

After the war Reverend Metcalf came back to Winchester for a short time, then left for Transylvania to rebuild the church there. When he returned he answered a call to Portland, Maine.

Information concerning his activities in Transylvania is needed and can fill a large gap in the story of his life. Please help if you can!!
